strangeholiday.com is a personal site run by its owner. This policy says what the site and the software connected to it do with personal information. The short answer is: as little as possible.
The pages here are static. They set no cookies and run no analytics or advertising scripts. The web host keeps ordinary server logs (the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser type) for security and fault finding, and deletes them in the normal course of its operation. Nothing in those logs is sold or passed to anyone else.
Some pages host survey instruments used in academic marketing research. Those surveys say on their first screen who is running them, what is collected, and how answers are stored. Answers are used only for the research described there.
The site owner runs research scripts that read statistics through Google APIs, including the Google Ads API. Those scripts use the owner's own Google account and no one else's. They read aggregate keyword statistics for academic study and nothing about individual users. They send no personal information to Google beyond the sign-in Google itself requires, store no Google user data, and share none with third parties. Any Google account data the scripts touch is used only as described here, in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
If you believe the site holds information about you and you want it corrected or removed, write to the site owner at the support address shown on the Google sign-in screen for the app, or through the contact details held by the domain's registrar. Requests are answered within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with the date updated above.
